General Questions

  • I typically support international professionals, graduates, and accompanying spouses who are navigating their career and life in Denmark.
While I welcome clients from all backgrounds, my expertise is especially valuable for those coming from EU countries — particularly from Eastern and Central Europe — as I understand the unique challenges and expectations they may face in the Danish job market and workplace culture.

  • You get practical, realistic guidance — from someone who’s been both a newcomer and a hiring manager in Denmark, and who has worked as a recruiter: screening candidates, creating shortlists, and supporting hiring decisions from the inside.

I help you understand the unspoken rules, tailor your approach, and move forward with confidence.

  • I combine insider knowledge of the Danish job market with my own experience as an international living in Denmark.
I’ve worked in hiring and leadership roles, and I know both sides of the table. You don’t get just generic advice – you get realistic, honest, and actionable guidance that fits the local context.

  • Not necessarily.
We can focus on your strengths and identify opportunities that suit your profile, even without fluent Danish.

  • Most importantly, I understand the real challenges you face — and I combine strategic insight with genuine emotional support to guide you forward.

I’ve lived in Denmark for over 8 years, worked as a Manager, led recruitments in both Danish and international companies, and supported many expats through job transitions.

I’m now a Certified Professional Coach through Coach Transformation Academy (CTA) and currently working toward ICF accreditation to deepen my coaching practice.
To support this, I’ll soon be offering discounted coaching sessions — if you’re interested, feel free to reach out via hello@decodingdenmark.com
