1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply when you book, purchase, or use services offered by Decoding Denmark through this website or through direct communication.
By booking or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Services
Decoding Denmark offers personalised 1:1 services, including but not limited to:
- Career counselling
- Job search support
- CV, LinkedIn, and application feedback
- Interview preparation
- Coaching
- Discovery and Intro calls
- Related support for internationals navigating work and life in Denmark
The exact scope of support depends on the service or program selected and any written agreement between Decoding Denmark and the client.
3. Booking and purchase
Services may be booked or purchased through:
- Embedded scheduling tools
- Direct purchase / payment links on the website
- Contact forms
- Direct written agreement
Some people choose to begin with a Discovery Call or Intro Call before booking a paid service. Others may purchase a service directly from the website.
A booking or purchase is considered confirmed once payment has been received and the booking has been accepted, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are listed in DKK unless otherwise stated.
Payment is required in advance.
For single sessions, full payment must be received no later than 24 hours before the session.
For multi-session programs, full payment upfront is preferred. For selected multi-session programs, a monthly payment plan may be offered by agreement.
If a payment plan is agreed, payment for the next session must be received no later than 24 hours before that session. If payment is not received on time, the session may be postponed until payment has been completed.
For services purchased directly through the website, payment is due at the time of purchase unless otherwise clearly stated.
Confirmed bookings and purchases are charged at the price shown or agreed at the time of booking.
5. Discovery Calls and Intro Calls
Discovery Calls and Intro Calls are intended to explore where you are right now, what kind of support you may need, and whether working together feels like a good fit.
These calls are not full coaching or counselling sessions and do not guarantee any particular outcome or ongoing collaboration.
If the call is described as free, no payment is required.
6. Delivery of services
Services are offered online and, where agreed, in person.
The format, duration, and structure of the service will be described on the relevant website page or agreed in writing before the service begins.
If a service includes multiple sessions, these may either be booked in advance or arranged step by step during the program.
7. Rescheduling and cancellation by the client
If you need to reschedule a session, please give at least 24 hours’ notice.
- If you give more than 24 hours’ notice, the session can be rescheduled at no extra cost.
- If you give less than 24 hours’ notice, the session is considered used.
- If you do not attend the session and do not give notice, the session is considered used.
Unused program sessions are not refundable, but they may be rescheduled within the validity period of the program.
8. Program validity
All sessions included in a program must be used within 3 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Any unused sessions remaining after this period will unfortunately be forfeited, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9. Cancellation or rescheduling by Decoding Denmark
If I need to cancel or reschedule a session due to illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances, we will arrange a new time as soon as possible.
If a service cannot be delivered at all, any unused paid portion will be handled fairly and in line with applicable law.
10. Refund policy
Because these services are personalized and time-based, refunds are generally not offered once a session or program has been booked and agreed.
Unused program sessions can be rescheduled only, within the program validity period, and are not refundable.
For services purchased directly through the website, the same cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms apply unless otherwise clearly stated.
11. Right of withdrawal for consumers
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for services purchased online, starting from the day the contract is concluded.
However, if you expressly request that the service begins before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period, and you acknowledge that this may affect your withdrawal right, your right of withdrawal may be reduced or lost once the service has been partly or fully delivered.
If you withdraw after the service has begun at your express request, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the part of the service already delivered.
Where relevant, Decoding Denmark may ask you to confirm before purchase that:
- you request the service to begin before the 14-day withdrawal period ends, and
- you understand that your withdrawal right may be reduced or lost once the service has been delivered in whole or in part.
12. Client responsibility
Clients are responsible for providing accurate contact information, attending sessions on time, and engaging in the process in a committed and honest way.
While I bring professional support, guidance, and care to our work together, I cannot guarantee specific outcomes such as job offers, interview success, relocation outcomes, or particular career decisions or results.
13. Nature of support
Decoding Denmark offers career counselling and coaching as supportive and developmental services.
These services do not constitute therapy, psychiatric care, legal advice, immigration advice, tax advice, or financial advice.
If more specialized support is needed, clients may be encouraged to seek help from an appropriate qualified professional.
14. Materials and intellectual property
Any worksheets, written feedback, templates, guides, exercises, or other materials shared during our work together are for personal use only.
They may not be copied, resold, distributed, published, shared publicly, or used commercially without prior written permission.
15. Confidentiality and personal data
Personal information shared during sessions will be treated with care and respect.
How personal data is collected, used, and stored is described in the Privacy Policy.
Confidentiality may be limited where disclosure is required by law or necessary for legal or safety reasons.
16. Communication
Communication may take place by email, scheduling platform, contact form, or other agreed channels.
If a program includes support between sessions, this means reasonable support connected to the agreed service. It does not mean unlimited access or immediate replies unless explicitly agreed.
17. Website information
I do my best to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and up to date. However, services, prices, availability, and content may change over time.
Nothing on this website should be interpreted as a guarantee of results.
18. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any part of the service, please contact me at hello@decodingdenmark.com so I could understand the issue and try to resolve it fairly.
19. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Danish law.
Any disputes shall be handled in accordance with applicable Danish law.
